In case you hadn’t heard yet, today is National Running Day. A time to get out there and run! Did you know that only one in four children gets at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day?
Although I didn’t join the Marine Corps Marathon planners on The Mall for their one mile run, I did head down to my gym at lunch for Day Two of my half marathon plan.
Two Miles and Strength
But, before I went down I knew I needed a snack or I wouldn’t make it. So, at 10:00 I went down to our building’s deli and grabbed ANOTHER coffee and apple.
And lunch at my desk was a…….salad and banana. Shocker.
