A Day of Decisions

Today was a big day of decisions. It began with Do I take the bus or drive to work? I drove. Hey, I had an early meeting that I would have been late for otherwise. Judge me.

Then I had to decide, soup or salad for lunch. I picked salad.

And inside I decided to add corn, peas, carrots, tomato, Chinese noodles, tofu, edamame and avocado from Chop’t.

I decided it was delicious.

I also decided whether or not to sample a coworker’s baking skills. I decided yes.

But I only ate the top.

I had to work late tonight, so I had to decide whether or not I was going to the gym since it was so late. I decided to move my booty.

As I drove home, I was deciding how wonderful a husband I would have when I got home. Upon arrival he was cooking dinner, so I decided yes 🙂

He was making Leftover Mix-Up Pasta. Bits of pasta came from Amie…

….remnants from the store….

…and fresh from Ceriello.

All together now.

Turkey sausage cooking.

While Geoff was cooking I decided to have a snack.

And when completed with Mezzetta Sauce.

I decided it was perfection.

And the biggest decision of the night: Biggest Loser or American Idol. I decided on BL; however we checked into AI during the commercials – and just in time to see one of my mom’s former students, Maddy Curtis, get four yes’es to go to Hollywood! I hope you DECIDE to vote for her later in the season 🙂

When you think about it, we make choices every day. We’re writing our own Choose Your Own Adventure books.

One of my favorite movies in Sliding Doors with Gwyneth Paltrow.

It shows how just one small decision can lead to two very different outcomes.

What are some decisions you have made that have been life changers?
