Tapas-esque Dinner

Good Saturday Morning!  There’s a chance of rain today, but right now the sun is shining and I’ve got a great hike planned with my friend Sara.  I’m going to ride my bike to her apartment (about 2 miles) and then we’ll head out.

It was confirmed yesterday – I have a sinus infection.  It’s viral, which is harder to treat, so they prescribed me with some Nasonex to relieve the pressure.  I hope it’s fast acting!

I then met the hubs at the gym for a 3.5 mile run and some abs.  When we got home we knew it was time for a Green Monster.

Last night we were boring by comparison to some of our more busy weekends as of late.  I vegged in the bedroom and watched back to back episodes of 16 and Pregnant on MTV.  I really never totally veg out like that and it felt great.  Hey, I was sick!

I finally felt a little hungry at around 8:00, but didn’t want a lot – so I had a variety of “tapas.”

It was just the right amount of little bites!

This morning I slept in!  Well, 7:00.  That’s late compared to my 5:30 wake-up call!

I started with a coffee and another one of these guys:

I’ve got a busy day -

  • Hike/Bike
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Dry Cleaning
  • Amish Farmer’s Market
  • Thank You Notes
  • Clean Apartment
  • BBQ with Family
  • BBQ with Friends

Bargain Tip of the Day: Movies are expensive these days.  Save heading to the theater for a rainy day and hit up a matinee.  You’ll save some cash and it won’t cut into your nightlife!
