All Stuffed Up

All Stuffed Up So I’m pretty confident I have a sinus infection. I thought I had a bum contact lens a few weeks ago, but after changing it, I still feel a lot of pressure and discomfort behind my right eye. My whole head feels like it’s full of crap, and my jaw line aches – almost like I have a toothache. I don’t think I’ve ever had a sinus infection. I guess I’ll be booking a doctor’s appointment today! Ugh! Due to my whole head clog situation, my 3.5 mile run on the Mall – despite the fact that it was gorgeous – was one of the most arduous and painful runs I’ve had in a while. I ran by the White House, around the Washington Monument, up one side of the reflecting pool, up the Lincoln Memorial steps, back down the other side of the reflecting pool and back to my office. Looks Can Be Deceiving

Looks Can Be Deceiving Didn’t we learn from Susan Boyle? Such a beautiful voice inside of there. Well, today, I went to Club Strength at WSC during my lunch break – a 45 minute class – that killed! I really find that instructors that look like they may not give you a good workout due to their size, gender, or age 9 times out of 10 prove me wrong. I always end up getting the BEST workouts when I misjudge. Just goes to show – you can’t judge a book by it’s cover! Have you ever had preconceived notions about someone or something that proved you wrong? Before I headed into class I knew that I would need a little something to get me through.
